Day Six
Many of you know through my Facebook post that on Saturday, we had to let go of our 14-year-old German Shepherd, Max. His health started deteriorating on Tuesday and the vet did not give him favorable prognosis. So hard to say goodbye to your first "child".
In times like this, when a roadblock is thrown in your way, need to hunker down and push through it. The shock of everything has left me pretty much with no appetite and I know I've been off my water consumption for the weekend. I'm just chalking this up to a really bad weekend and will get back on the saddle tomorrow.
