Day Eight
Starting to come out of my funk and was shocked to realize this is Day Eight of the 24-Day Challenge! Yikees! Reflecting back on my first week on this program...the good...the bad...and the ugly. Seriously, not a whole lot of bad and ugly to report on! I will weigh-in on Day 11 and post the results (of course).
The good so far:
- My dependence on Diet Coke is gone.
- My energy level is WON-derful and it sustains throughout the day.
- My headaches are gone.
- I am eating more often and healthier without deprivation.
- I am drinking more water (see "The bad" below).
- I am rethinking my relationship with food.
The bad:
- I truly feel waterlogged and bloated from all the water I've been drinking!
To recap the basics of this 24-Day Challenge, the first 10 days consist of the "cleanse" phase and the following 14 days start the Advocare MNS System, which is a daily regimen of nutritional supplements and also meal replacement shakes.
