Friday Weigh-In! End of the 24-Day Challenge (Sort Of)

Ahhh...there's nothing like a weigh-in to really start your day off! I stepped on the scale to find a 1 pound weight loss from last week (206.5 lbs.). Hmmm, not quite what I was hoping for. All totaled, in the 24-Day Challenge I dropped a total of 5 pounds. I'm not sure if my body is in some sort of shock with the new nutrition and exercise regimen? I expected that I would have dropped a lot more weight by now. Looking back, that's a little more than 1 pound a week, which is good number to stick with for long term weight loss.

Last night I had a great butt-kicking in step class. The routine is getting much easier, so I'm not as focused on the footwork but can focus more on amping up the intensity and paying attention to my form. Tonight is soccer and hopefully I'll get to run a bit. Last week I had to spend the time doing administrative stuff and didn't have time to play.
