Sunday Workout

Day 20
Another cardio and weights workout day at the gym! Since the gym uses Cybex machines, I downloaded a workout schedule from their website. The schedule outlines a 6-week regimen of workouts. Tonight I plan on making a more solid schedule of workouts.

I completed a 30-minute weight-loss program on the Cybex Arc Trainer. If you haven't used one of these, you gotta try one! It's not quite an ellipitcal, not quite a stair-stepper, but easy on the knees. I thought it was neat that is generates its own electricity; so the the controls and television won't work unless you are.

I was having a great workout watching the Masters, until about 5 minutes from the end of my workout, a lady jumped on a machine right next to me and she had an overload of perfume on. It was really bad and if it wasn't for me being almost done with my program, I would have jumped off my machine. I mean seriously, it's the gym...ya don't need to smell sweet (but don't be stinky)!

After my cardio, I grabbed my workout program and tracked down the machines I needed for the Day One workout (mostly chest and arms). Truly, the workout felt wonderful. It felt really good to stretch out my upper body. I think that when you are carrying so much weight, you tend to contract into yourself (if that makes sense). It felt really freeing actually.
