Weigh-In #3!

Day 19
It was a nice, laid-back Saturday with nowhere in particular to be! A nice change of pace! It is Master's weekend, and for those of you without a die-hard golfer in your household, you probably could care less. The Master's weekend is sacred in this household with the hubby; all the more reason to find ways to get out of the house!

This morning I did the weekly weigh-in and the weight result was not spectacular, but I had to go up a notch on my sports bra (so I'm getting smaller in the chest)! I actually gained a half pound (207.5 pounds), but given that I'm in the middle of that wonderful monthly visitor, it could have been worse! Another nice thing is that I don't feel nearly as bloated as I usually do, which may be attributed to drinking more water.

I ventured down to Summit Express, which is a smaller gym about 4 minutes from my house. It's a satellite gym of the main one I have returned to for all the fitness classes. This smaller gym has a great set-up of cardio machines (all with personal t.v.s), Cybex machines and free weights. Needless to say, at 11:30am on a Saturday, it was like my own personal gym since there were maybe 2 other people there (sweet)!

I did 30-minutes on the elliptical and worked a bit on the Cybex machines and some abs. Knowing that this location has such a nice set-up of machines, I need to make a plan for doing more strength training in addition to my cardio. I keep forgetting more muscle burns more fat, so I definitely need to work that in.

As for diet, I am disliking the weekends since I find myself not drinking as much water as I should be!
